Day 5 of my stay-cation ended up being “Domestic Day”. Between appointments (dentist and hair) and just overall household stuff, I didn’t get much time yesterday to work on anything crafty. I did get a few frames painted that I need for my stamp club swap Friday night, but that was about it. I’ll post a picture of that project on Friday once they are all done.
One thing that I did get done last night was my August self-photo shoot. My hair still looked decent from my appointment earlier in the day – so I figured I might as well take advantage of it. Overall, I was pretty pleased with how the pictures turned out. One thing I think I’ve learned from doing these monthly “shoots” is to be more forgiving/less critical of myself. Or maybe I have just learned what angles I need to stand/turn my head to get a shot that I like. Or maybe both.
Regardless, here is the layout I put together using one of my favorite shots.
