Friday Favorites

First off, I just have to say “what a difference a week makes”. Last week, we (here in the PNW) were sweltering in 90+ degree heat. This morning, not so much. As a matter of fact, I’m sitting here with socks and a sweater on AND I stopped at Starbucks to get myself a warm chai latte. I don’t even think we’re suppose to get up to 70 today. Go figure.

Well, let’s get to it – this week’s episode of Friday Favorites.

Jennifer (Jen’s Scrappy Pages) – Check out THIS cute little card she made. On the face of it, it looks like a nice, clean and simple card. But the CTMH A-Door-Ables give it that little extra punch. Very creative and it makes me want to order some A-Door-Ables.

Lisa Stenz (Lisa’s Creative Corner) – you have to see THIS adorable tote she made using the new Magnifique papers. Gorgeous.

Melissa Bickford (Just Dandy) – I think THIS card is absolutely adorable. Between the pairing of pinks and greens to the clean and simple design, what is not to love?

Okay – that about wraps it up for this week. A shorter list than usual. One, my blog reads seemed a little slower than usual this week. Everyone must be out getting in their last hoorays of the summer before school starts. And two, I found myself “checked out” more than usual this week because we were busy out and about ourselves. I’m guessing things will pick up again within the next few weeks as we all settle into new fall routines.

Did I really just say that? Summer isn’t really over yet, is it? I will say that it is going to be weird joining the whole official back to school routine. I am really curious to see what life will be like for Miss B as a first grader. New school – new routine – new friends. Lots of changes coming our way.
