I don’t have a whole lot to report about Day 4 of my stay-cation. One thing about my stay-cations is that I still have to get up somewhere near normal work-day time. The cat needs to have her insulin shot at 7:00am and I have to get Miss B to summer camp. So I go ahead and start my day as usual and wait until everyone else is taken care of before I set about doing “my” thing.
Now, I do try to avoid making lists of things to do while I am on stay-cation. However, this morning, I couldn’t resist. I have a bunch of things that need to get done this week – both with normal life stuff (like dentist and hair appointments), as well as crafty stuff (like my OTS September release assignments, stamp club swaps, and other crafty related projects). And without a list, I’m afraid something will slip through the cracks.
So, today’s focus (after I blogged about Day 3) was working on my OTS September release assignments. Unfortunately, I can not share any of that work with you just yet. But I can say that it was a very rewarding day when it came to putting everything together. And I can’t wait to reveal my layouts in a couple of weeks.
Since I don’t have any cool or exciting pictures from today to scrap, I took some time tonight to complete the Scrap Matters Tuesday Template Challenge from last week (8/10). HERE is a link to the SM blog post about the challenge. And here is my completed layout.
One of my favorite things to photograph are little kids’ faces. I absolutely love all of the expressions – and you just have to wonder what is going through their mind. If you’ve followed my blog at all, you’ll notice that I chose to feature my niece again. By Christmas, heck maybe even her birthday in October, I should have enough layouts to create a mini album for my sister. It won’t capture the day-to-day, but I like the idea of giving her an “outside” view from throughout the year. Hopefully she will like it as much as I do.
