This is a story about a little boy name Billy (name changed to protect the innocent). Billy is fascinated by all things related to garbage trucks and lawn care maintenance. Each and every week, when the garbage trucks coming rolling through or the lawn maintenance guys show up, you can find Billy "plastered" to his upstairs window watching all of the action. Now, Billy's fascination doesn't just stop there. On any given day, weather permitting, if Billy is playing outside, he is more than likely playing "lawn maintenance". He pretends to mow and edge the grass. And you will HEAR him pretending to blow the grass clippings/leaves away. And don't be surprised if Billy gets upset if one of the other kids in the neighborhood doesn't want to play "lawn maintenance". "Lawn Maintenance" is his life. And if Billy holds onto this passion for 10-15 years, I wouldn't be surprised if he started his own landscaping company. Not to mention that he may be able to make some good money as a teenager, if he solicits the neighbors to take care of their lawn needs.
But alas - Billy went in to the doctor recently for a check up. While there, the doctor ran some allergy tests (his parents already knew he was allergic to nuts and eggs). The results came back and poor little Billy. He is allergic to GRASS. Whatever will the future landscaper do? What will come of the "lawn maintenance" game? I guess it is good that fall is descending and it probably won't be long before the rains come back and Billy won't be able to play outside as much. Poor little guy.

Ohhhhh, that breaks my heart. To love something and not be able to do it. That would be like me being allergic to paper or the computer. AHHHHHH, don't even go there.
