Friday Favorites

For a lot of you, it is no longer Friday. But here in the PNW, I’ve still got a couple of hours. So here goes.

Annette (Annette’s Creative Journey) – I haven’t yet had a chance to check out the CTMH October Stamp of the Month blog hop, but since Annette is on my regular read list, I got to see THIS awesome holiday card that Annette made. I’m not usually a big fan on the new non-traditional Christmas colors trend, but I love how Annette was able to bring in the traditional red and green and make it all work.

Cheryl (Even More Scrapping) – Cheryl is kicking off another LOAD Challenge where LOAD stands for a “Layout a Day”. I’m not sure I can keep up and complete a layout every day, but the challenge is a great source for accountability and I just may try to play (so long as I can do digi).

Cupcake Project – I’m not a red wine drinker, but I have to say that THIS post about Red Wine Chocolate Ganache has my curiosity peaked. And as if that wasn’t enough, she followed it up with THIS post for Wine & Cheese cupcakes. It kind of makes me want to host a dinner party or some other little get together just so that I can make them.

Amy (Scrapping the Story) – Check out THIS cute birthday party invitation that Amy made using kits from this month’s Owl Tree Studio release. And while you’re visiting her blog, read about the cruise she got back from. I now have a desire to take an overseas vacation – the pictures she took are fabulous.

Kelly (Simply Kelly Designs) – check out Kelly’s “You Look Like a Monkey” layout posted HERE. I love how her daughter’s jammies match Jen’s (Girl Boy Girl Designs) kit from the OTS October release so perfectly. What are the odds of that?

Lauren (Utterly Splendid) – Jessica Sprague.com is having a CT call and Lauren shared her CT submissions HERE. Personally, I think Lauren would be a great addition to the JS CT team. I love that she chose to submit multiple formats – scrapbooking, hybrid. Good luck Lauren!

Okey dokey folks. That wraps it up. Stay tuned later this weekend for some digi sharing.

You don't know how happy I was when I saw that monkey! I have been waiting a long time to scrap those pics of my daughter!
