Good Morning! It’s September 1st and that means it is time for the Owl Tree Studio September release. Tiffany has a great post HERE that shows you a preview of all of the fabulous products in this month’s release. It is quite a haul of goodies this month – 6 full kits, 5 add-on bonuses, and quick pages from our creative team. Hoot Hoot! Back during my stay-cation, I posted about how I worked on my OTS September layouts. Since it is release day, I can finally show you what I put together. The first kit I used was the September Collab put together by all of our fabulous designers. This is a great school-themed kit that I think I’ll get a lot of use out of – especially with Miss B starting up first grade this year.
And then the second kit I chose to work with was Field Trip by Jen Dipzinski of Jen’s Designs. I’ve got lots of “field trip” photos that are perfect for this kit.
I made this “field trip” layout into a quick page, which will be part of the September release package. There will also be an OTS blog post later this month with a layout I created using the Heart Song kit by Wild Blueberry Ink.
Like last month, in addition to the goodies I’ve already talked about, throughout the month, there will be scrap challenges, template give-aways, craft projects, and tutorials available to OTS members. Be sure to sign up today so that you don’t miss out on all of the fun. I’ll also have at least one more layout to share in a few days – this one featuring “The Lighter Side” kit by Veronica Springs from Scrapbook Graphics. Like Jen, Veronica is joining as a guest designer and her kit is absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait to start creating with it.
Okay – I need to fly on out of here and start getting ready. We’ve got a busy morning ahead of us with it being the first day of school. I’m nervous and excited, all at the same time, for Miss B. As is she. I can’t wait to hear about her first day of elementary school. Have a great day!
