We have had the weirdest summer, weather-wise. It was pretty mild, with bouts of rain, as well as bouts of excessive heat. Today was one of those dreary days with rain. Very reminiscent of fall. As a matter of fact, when I was getting ready this morning, I even said to myself that it felt like it should be October. Bring on the pumpkins and let’s get ready for Halloween.
I got a little time this evening to sit down and create. I opted to use “The Lighter Side” kit (from Owl Tree Studio’s September Release) by Veronica Spriggs for my “Me-September” layout. I love the color scheme of this kit, as well as the different textures Veronica used in creating the accompanying elements.
