Friday Favorites

Hey there! Everyone ready for the long weekend? I know that I am. And we don’t even have any plans – other than going out to dinner tonight. Although I have more cards to share, I thought I would dedicate today’s post to my favorite blog reads from this week. So without further ado….

Jennifer (Jen’s Scrappy Pages) – THIS post was the inspiration behind the card workshop that I’m putting together. And check out this group of cards as well.

Lori (SCRAPPINLORI BLOGSPOT) – I enjoyed reading all week about Lori’s trip to Maui. Maui is a very special place to Curt and me. And it has been far too long since our last visit. So it was a treat to see all of Lori’s great pictures.

Heather Nichols (Pine is Here) – The PTI design team was challenged to create using the color couture ensembles. I’ve never bought the download versions of color couture, but THIS post by Heather has me rethinking that. I love the bright, vibrant colors.

Kristina Werner (kwernerdesignblog) – Kristina usually posts cards, so it totally caught my eye when she posted THIS “Bubbles” scrapbook page. I’m intrigued by the wavy scalloped edge envelope. I just might have to look into getting some of those for my stash.

The Pioneer Woman – technically, this wasn’t a new post (as you’ll see by the post date). But Ree did highlight THIS recipe for raspberry cobbler cupcakes. Don’t they look delicious? I may just have to give these a try this weekend.

Okay – need to run. UPS just came and dropped off a couple of cookbooks I ordered. I want a chance to peruse them before I need to get ready for dinner. Have a nice night!
