Ugghh - has anyone else caught this nasty flu bug that is going around? I was starting to wonder if I was going to ever shake the darn thing. For the most part, I felt better this week - but was still grappling with a lot of congestion, coughing, and the lovely laryngitus (although I still don't have my full voice back). And of course, I was just wiped out tired. So needless to say, I haven't been doing anything crafty AND I've fallen way behind on my Project 365. Hopefully, I have taken enough fodder on other days to cover the missing pictures from this week. Speaking of which, I better go grab my camera and take some pictures of my dear cat, Casper.
Casper isn't doing so hot this morning - very lethargic, not eating, looks like she feels miserable, and the meow she made at me this morning just sounded like she was in pain. One the one hand, I'm hoping it is just some flu bug or nutrient deficiency. But on the other hand, I know there is a possibility that this could be something serious. And she is getting older - almost 12. But we thought she would probably be one of those cats that live to be like 20. So, my day is taking an unexpected turn and we will be heading off to the vet shortly. Hopefully, I won't have to make any tough decisions today.
On a happier note, tomorrow I am signed up to take a Chocolate Workshop at Sur La Table. I'm really looking forward to learning how to make some fabulous treats. And the instructor is the same gal who taught the Croissant class a couple of weeks ago. I'm really stoked about that because I really liked Rachel and her cooking/teaching style. It should be a full class - I think they have a waitlist of like 6 people.
Anyways, now that I am back among the living and feeling back to normal, I'm sure I will have more to post in the next couple of days. Have a great Friday!
