Hey everyone! Hope you all had a really nice Halloween. We had a super busy weekend with the all the different festivities. On Friday, Miss B had a party at school, followed by me taking her trick-or-treating at work, and then a carnival back at the school. And then on Sunday, we had a neighborhood party before heading out to trick-or-treat the neighborhood. As you may have noticed, I missed last week’s episode of Friday Favorites. I had started it before heading out in the morning, but never got back around to it. So I’ll be sure to double up this week so we don’t miss anything.
As for this week, it is the beginning of the month – which means crazy busy at work. Maybe even a little more so than usual since I will be officially transitioning to my new job on the 15th. I’ve got to transfer my old job duties to folks, as well as start ramping up on my new responsibilities. Actually, I think the trickiest part of it is that they haven’t announced that I’m transitioning out yet. So I have to be careful about what I say to whom until they do. Of course, I’m ready to just get going and want to give people notice in case there is something specific that they might need. But oh well. What’s a girl to do?
On a craftiness note – be sure to head over to the Owl Tree Studio blog and check out the post I did on digital kit storage and organization. There are probably a hundred and one different ways that one could organize their digi-stash. And no one way is the right way. But I thought I would share the process that I go through, as well as share some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way. You never know when someone might have that one little tidbit that could help make things a little bit easier.
Okay – I suppose that is all for now. I really should probably get back to bed since the alarm will go off in about 4 hours. Have a great Tuesday!
