Did everyone have a nice Valentine's Day? We did. Curt and I had the opportunity to go out for a date night. Something we don't treat ourselves to very often - we usually prefer to spend our weekends together as a family. We chose to go to a fabulous seafood restaurant downtown - Oceanaire. If you've never been, you should put it on your list to check out. We had a really nice evening with great food and service. And we noticed they have a great happy hour menu. Now happy hour downtown is not something we could probably swing due to the limited hours. But they offer happy hour all day on Sundays. How great is that? We will definitely be checking that out sometime.
I have not had much of a chance to get crafty this past weekend - too busy running around. I am a new auntie and yesterday was spent making a bunch of food to take to my sister. And then of course, we got to go over and meet the new bundle of joy. We didn't end up staying very long as they are still adjusting to being home and getting a routine down. Those first few days can be challenging. But hopefully now that the work week is starting, they won't have so many visitors and things will settle down and start falling into place.
I suppose I should get off the computer and take advantage of this morning's quiet (before everyone gets up). There are a couple of card sketches that I want to complete and I also need to prep for scrap night on Friday. Stay tuned for pictures of those completed cards. Have a great day!
