Project 365–Week 16

Good Morning and Happy Easter!  The Easter Bunny has stopped by our house but I’m waiting for the rest of the crew to get up and going.  And I’m crossing my fingers that the rain holds off for a little longer since EB went ahead and hid the eggs outside.  The neighbor kids just started hunting for their eggs.  They must not have the same EB that we do – he hid all of their eggs up on top of the fence, where the kids can’t reach them.  I’m not really sure what to think about that one.  But I guess the important thing is that the kids don’t seem to mind – I hear lots of squeals of delight.

On to Project 365 – I can’t believe that I’m starting Week 17 already.  This is kind of a turning point/week for me.  Last year, when I attempted this project, I made it through April.  So at the very least, I’ve made it as far as I did last year.  But I’m not stopping this time.  It seems much more ingrained this time – for a couple of reasons.  1) I shoot all of my P365 pictures with my point-n-shoot camera.  It is much easier to carry my PnS in my purse, which makes it easier to get a picture every day.  2) I’m using the P365 templates by Joey Lynn.  Let me tell you – having a preset layout (that someone else put together) makes things so much easier.  And 3) I look forward to seeing Isabel’s new kit each month.  How could one not succeed with such great tools/tricks.

Lastly, some sad news.  Tiffany is having to close up shop over at Owl Tree Studios.  The doors are closing on April 30th, so if you are wanting to pick up Joey’s P365 templates or any of the other great kits offered in the OTS store, you have about a week to pick them up.  It has been a great ride and I wish Tiffany all of the best in her future endeavors.
