My First Sketch Challenge

I was reading Melanie Muenchinger's blog earlier today, where she challenged her readers to complete a SCS challenge using one of her stamp sets. Now, I've never attempted one of the SCS challenges before - I guess the whole concept intimidated me a bit. But I've also been wanting to ink up my "Jumping for Joy" stamp set. So I figured it was a great opportunity to "kill two birds with one stone".

I decided to tackle a sketch challenge (SCS #182) - since that seemed easier than having to use a specific technique or colors. And here is the card that I came up with.



I used PTI Cardstock and Ribbon, Memory Box Enlighten paper, Jumping for Joy stamp set, Brilliance Graphite ink, and my COPIC Ciaos and Spica pens.

I'm looking forward to the long weekend and I just may have to try my hand at another SCS challenge.
