New Products - New Cards

So over the weekend, I picked up a handful of new products (I hate it when payday rolls around and you've got a 50% off coupon burning a whole in your pocket). Oh - and I finally found the new Fiskars Threading Water Punch. And did you know that Martha Stewart has a scallop punch too? Although maybe the MS one has been around for awhile and I just hadn't come across it yet. Of the two, however, I think I am partial to the Fiskars punch. I also wanted to try out my colored pencil ability. It's okay, but I definitely need to learn how to shade. Anyways, here is the Thank You card I made.

On Sunday, we went out to brunch to celebrate a belated Mother's Day with my family. Now this is the beauty of making your own cards. How many Mother's Day cards do you think you will find in the stores 3 weeks after the special day? Anyways, here is the card I made for my mom. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the best part of the card - the inside, where Miss B wrote her name in entirety for the first time.
